Photography:
◉ Each candidate for the competition will send 5 pictures on a same theme
◉ Photography should be unpublished
◉ Plagiarism is not allowed
◉ The pictures sent for the competition will be the property of Laaltain & can be used by The Laaltain whenever it needs.
◉ Winning pictures will be chosen in 2 categories, each will be awarded separately:
1. Most voted Picture
2. Editorial Choice
◉ Prizes for winners of each category:
The winning picture will be used as the cover for the next Laaltain edition & the winner will get a free entry to Khudi Festival of Ideas
Writing:
◉ There will be 4 further categories in writing; Urdu Fiction, Urdu Non-Fiction, English Fiction, English Non-fiction. The candidate must mention one of these categories in the email subject line.
◉ Each category will be awarded separately
◉ Write-up should be unpublished
◉ There is no restriction on the topic
◉ Plagiarism is not allowed
◉ The winning write up will be of the editorial choice
◉ Prizes for winners of each category:
1. The write-up will be published in the next edition of Laaltain
2. The winner will get a free entry to Khudi Festival of Ideas & a surprise gift.
Poetry:
◉ There will be 2 categories English & Urdu. Each category will be awarded separately.
◉ There is no restriction on the topic
