Qaisar Abbas, Ph. D. is an Urdu poet, writer and consultant in media strategies and grant writing. With a doctorate from University of Wisconsin- Madison (US), he has worked for several institutions of higher education in the US as Assistant Dean, Director and Professor of Communications. Before coming to the US he worked as News Producer for Pakistan Television and Information Officer at the Directorate of Public Relations, Punjab. He currently resides in Maryland.
