Its a reportage, its a travel story of many stories and its a beautiful blend of fact into fition and fiction into facts. Believe me, I really enjoyed it to the core and felt as if I was all the time with Salman Rashid in his travels around Pakistan. Salman is a travel writer whose style is umatchable but I must give credit to Ajmal Jami too for this beautful rendition that enables the reader to peep deep into Salman’s mind and thoughts on travel. But sorry travel is not the only thing. Many a time it appeared to me Salman is more a sufi, a malang than a superb trveller (musafir), and writer that he indeed is.
